We took John Hall to the pumpkin patch yesterday. It was such a beautiful day and it wasn't such a huge surprise everyone else in town decided to make a day of it too....man, it was crowded!
Inspecting the picked pumpkins.
John had a good time playing in the corn trough. He liked it even better when I hopped in and played with him. I cannot tell you how much corn I poured out of my shoe, but we sure had fun!
The weather was a little chilly when we left for the pumpkin patch, but by the time I put his costume on it was a little on the warm side. He wore it for about 5 minutes and it was quickly off. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for cold weather Halloween night.

The pumpkin patch does hayrides out to the actual pumpkin patch. The trailers are pulled behind tractors and John Hall thought that was so unbelievably cool. He couldn't wait to get on the trailer! Maybe I have a future farmer on my hands!
After we found the perfect pumpkin, Jason and John raced back to our ride. John thinks racing his daddy is so funny because he's so much faster than Jason, ha!
John is such a wiggle worm and car diaper changes are a nightmare! (totally forgot to mention the diaper change in JH's muddie's car when we picked him up...he peed all over the back of her pathfinder. Luckily, she thought it was funny...her only comment was that should be loads of fun when the TX weather hits 100 degrees....oh, I can only imagine! Yuck!) Jason got the luck of the draw and got to change him when we left.
When we got home, JH got another bath to get ready to go to a Razorback watching party. We decided we would wait until today to carve his pumpkin.
He thought scooping out the pumpkin was cool and kept tasting it (basically putting the gunk to his tongue and making a funny face) saying "mmmm, mmmmm." He would try to lure Jason or me to take a bite, but he didn't have any takers. It was so funny!

"No, seriously Daddy, you should really try a bite!"
(JH looks like he's missed a few meals in this picture, huh!)
After carving our pumpkin, JH had a little snack. He likes to tell you all about his facial parts and will point out yours when he is eating in his highchair. He would point to his eyes, Jason's eyes, and say eyes...same with ears, nose, hair, teeth, and tongue...
"Here's my tongue, where's yours?"

Looks like JH is going to be an expert pumpkin carver---or seed scooper one! Love the pics of that sweet boy!!!
Hi, this is totally random but I found you off of Kelly's nursery tour and I have a question about your nursery. I absolutely love the colors you used and I was wondering if you had the bedding made or if you purchased it somewhere? I am having a baby boy in March and LOVED your bedding. Thanks so much!
