We spent the weekend in Dallas for the Southwest Classic. John Hall is still a little young to attend games, so he was lucky enough to spend the weekend with Jason's parents. We met Jason's mom and Aunt Paula in Tyler for the hand-off. While we were there, we had lunch with Jason's Mamaw and Uncle Eldon at Luby's. There were two people who thought that meal was FABULOUS and that was Mamaw and JH! John went through the line with his Muddie who pretty much got him whatever he pointed to. He loved his blue jello and macaroni medley. Yum-yum!
It was hard to say good-bye to our little guy for a few days. He didn't seem to mind so much and loved when Muddie's car was being packed. I let him play in Jason's driver seat with all the gadgets. He even completed the look of a full-fledged driver by wearing my sunglasses. Thank goodness it will be a LONG time before he gets behind the wheel of a car for real!
Thursday night we went to eat and got chauffeured by our hotel driver, Cliff. It turns out he has been a driver since the early 70's and has driven all sorts of celebrities. He had all kinds of stories to share with us back and forth from dinner. The boys had to go in another shift. They said he was just as entertaining with them...
We spent a good portion of our day outlet shopping and we all had some success. When we got back to the hotel, we piled our bags on top of a table and posed for a picture. Someone said we should title this one "girls gone wild." Ha! We met up with the rest of our group later on that evening for a very nice meal to celebrate our friend, Shawn's, 40th birthday.

This year we stayed at the same hotel as last year. Before leaving for the game, we took a group shot in the same spot as last year. The only difference was the absence of the guys who had to leave early to set up our tailgating spot.
Woo-Pig Sooie! Here's the big group as we entered Cowboy's stadium ready for the big game.
Brandie, Keitha, me, and Stacy.
John said he had a wonderful time at Muddie's house. He got all sorts of homemade food and loving from them. However, Aunt Alyson came to play for a while and made my poor son wear this "roll tide" t-shirt. Here is a picture of him trying to call his parents to tell them about how mean she was being to him. (Muddie sent more pictures, but this was the only one that would download) In all seriousness, we appreciate the babysitting and are so thankful for John's Pop, Aunt Paula, Aunt Alyson, Khloe, and especially his Muddie!
