Oh no, Vangogh

John Hall got into some fingernail polish and decided to "paint."  It took awhile for this masterpiece to fully disappear from him.  (not sure why he feels the need to suck his belly in when I ask him to smile for a photo.  He looks malnourished!)

Sam Stays

We kept cousin Sam while his parents were on a trip out-of-town.  We had fun staying at Sam's house, playing with Lily the dog, going to Jacob's birthday party, and spending quality time with Sam!

John Hall and I also enjoyed going to play with James while Samuel was at Kindergarten.  The boys loved having free range of Adalie's room while she wasn't at home!  Her stage is tons of fun!



Gotta get that...

The other day, I was putting away laundry and overheard John Hall playing with his cars.  It was getting close to nap time, so he was winding down.  I love to listen to him play with his toys making all their respective noises.  I grabbed my phone and filmed him from around a chair so that he wouldn't notice me.  He began to sing a song that I had NO IDEA he knew.  Not exactly what I want him singing, but it goes to show he picks up on everything!!!!

What's that noise?

We had a storm come through recently that split the only tree we have in our backyard.  I was pretty bummed about it, but it could have been worse considering what others had to deal with like trees that fell on houses/cars.  There were trees down all over town.  The next morning we had to deal with the tree situation as well as an annoying solid beep coming from the master bathroom.  Jason took apart the tub, fan, lights...anything that it could have possibly been.  We decided to call our handyman we use from time-to-time to take a look.  He suggested we look for toys that might be the cause of the noise, so sure enough John Hall had thrown a little truck in the trash.  It must have landed in such a way the button for the siren was pushed.  Always exciting around here....
