This weekend we celebrated Easter at Mom & Dad’s. Saturday we dyed eggs & had our Easter egg hunt. Jamie’s birthday is coming up and since everyone was there, she also was celebrated! Mom had prepared the house so that everywhere you looked; there was a hint of Easter. She made the backyard into an “Easter Wonderland” as Dad put it, but Sam says it was his new “little playground.” Jamie requested Hawaiian King Roll sandwiches and some of “Myron’s famous mud cookies” for her birthday, and I have to say I’m glad she did b/c the food was very tasty! On the menu for Easter lunch: Honey baked ham, homemade macaroni & cheese, fried squash, fresh salad, green beans, super-duper potatoes, & sourdough rolls. Jason is already working out (while watching the Hogs get killed by NC) to shed some of the overeating that he did today!
