We made a last minute decision to celebrate Memorial Day weekend by packing up and heading to Dallas. We met up with several of our old friends throughout the weekend. We met Dawn and Jerry on Friday night and ate at one of our favorite local Mexican restaurants. Saturday, we visited Megan and David along their kiddos at their new home in Fort Worth. Then we met up with Kurt and Holly for dinner at a really nice restaurant in Sundance Square. They are recent parents of twins and are expecting another baby in November. We pretty much ate and ate and ate some more! We also made a little time for a movie. I always tell people one thing I miss about Dallas is that the movie theaters have a popcorn buttering station and for someone who loves to drown their popcorn in butter, this is an essential feature for any movie theater. The ones here are missing the boat! We had a great time on our last minute trip!!!
