John Hall had his first haircut today. He was a little trooper and handled the entire thing WAY better than I ever dreamed he would. He saw Jason get draped first and sat in his lap when she draped him. I think that did the trick and he was cooperative the whole time...with some assistance of lollipops towards the end...He looked so big and handsome when she finished.
"Lady, what are you doing to me???"
"Parents, this really isn't all that fun...."

He got a lollipop for both hands; anything to make the first haircut a happy experience! I can't believe his pediatric dentist approved of this!!!

I recommend trying fruit snacks--the suckers can get covered in hair--which causes a meltdown. I learned this the hard way!
